Welcome to Ashland Brethren In Christ Church

Find joy. Find community. Find meaning. Find friends.

At Ashland Brethren in Christ (ABC), we believe that God is a God of truth and joy. Our community is a church family committed to loving one another in the truest sense of the phrase - we’re here to learn together, laugh together, cry together, and celebrate together.

ABC is...

A place to connect

For all the ways we’re connected through work, through family, and through the Internet, somehow life feels increasingly isolated. We’re built for relationship.

A place to seek meaning

The world seems crazy - who can make sense of it? Jesus Christ revealed how we can see the world through the lens of God's love, and find greater purpose, peace, and joy in life. He came so that we have the opportunity to experience a genuinely satisfying life. We aim to experience that together.

A place for family

At ABC, kids are seen and loved rather than seen and not heard. Our children are precious, we cherish and nurture our kids.

A place of action

“Community Outreach” isn’t a program at ABC; being the heart, hands, and feet of Jesus is part of our DNA. When needs arise in our church and community, we aim to be people that help to meet those needs.

Want to get to know us better?

We’re ready to help you connect and grow. No one’s going to ask you to stand up during service or stalk you on your way out the door, but we promise to be here for you when you’re ready to get involved and connect.

Our church is a casual and friendly place where life is always happening. You’ll find variety in our worship and people of all ages in our services. You’ll find opportunities to learn, play, and grow.

Experience ABC

Most of all, you’ll find a group of people who behave like family - we love each other deeply, and once we’ve built trust together, we won’t be afraid to point out the spaghetti stain on your shirt.

Come on in Sunday morning - church begins at 10:30 a.m.

We’re eager to meet you… but we'll try not to overwhelm you.

DOWNSHIFTING 2020 - Valuing Stillness, Quietness, and Peace

The things we’re doing and the places we visit may even be good, wonderful, healthy, interesting, enriching or helpful but far too much! Maybe, in reality we are tired, weary, worn out, stretched, frazzled or stressed. Jesus Christ met with His disciples for the Last Supper just prior to His capture, trial, crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection. His precious words have deep value to consider. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid (John 14:27). This eternal peace is for all who believe!
